I would go to the Stable at Fistral beach and sit on the balcony for the view of Fistral beach, this has the same view as Boardmasters beach bar but from higher up and the service, view, food, drinks and toilets are vastly better.
Then walk along Fistral to the South end of the beach, up the steps and along the coast path to Pentire Headland. There you can go to Lewinnick Lodge for a panoramic view of Newquay bay from the headland.
Then head to the Fern Pit cafe (food overpriced here, service poor but outside seating and view amazing, drinks, coffee, ice cream fine) and use their stairs and bridge (3 hours either side of low tide only, you can google tide times at Crantock) to cross the Gannel estuary and access Crantock beach.
From there you can walk up into the village of Crantock which is charming and has two pubs. The Old Albion and The Cornishman opposite eachother. If you're going this weekend, The Old Albion is having a little free music festival, look them up on facebook for more details.
If you wish you can walk out to West Pentire headlnd. The Bowgie (pronounced Bow as in ow gie as in jee) pub has an amazing view but terrible food and app or Mcdonalds style screen only service (do not approach the bar, you will be told off, read the tripadvisor reviews for more details) so only get a drink here.
You can walk back from Crantock if the tide is still low enough or get a bus if you are tired, use Go Cornwall bus app.
