Cheaper alternative to centre parc?!

Does anyone know of any centre parc style holidays but with a smaller budget?
ideally within couple hours from Bristol

Haven chalets? One that's near a woodland?

We didn't get round to visiting, preferring to head over to mainland Europe for Centre Paris/Duinrell/Lalandia at off peak times.

Bluestone (near Tenby) in Wales is probably the closest to a UK Centreparcs, but I think that is similarly priced unless you can dodge the school holidays (I think we might have left super-early on an INSET weekend to be back home for 8:30 (I am in Bath)

Finlake Holiday Park has a good swimming complex with indoor and outdoor flumes, plus lots of onsite activities.
