Jersey self catering holiday

I'm starting to think about next year's family holiday (sorry, way too early I know!). Does anyone have any recommendations for self catering, holiday cottage, accommodation in Jersey? There is me, DH and 2DC 8 and 4 year's old. We'd be looking for 2 or 3 bedrooms, a village or countryside location away from St Helier, with parking. Ideal max budget of £2k for one week in the summer holidays (flights, car hire and spending money on top of this).

I’d definitely try Les Ormes to see if it’s within budget. We went off-peak so not sure how prices compare. It was brilliant though, worth every penny. There’s loads for the dc, and it’s just outside St Brelade.

La Place country cottages. It’s being redesigned atm but is very nice, clean, has a pool (I think) and is a bit rural so is peaceful.

I loved Jersey!

You need to look at freedom holidays that's where they all hang out.
We have been to so many places they have all been lovely though we mainly go for costal not countryside. We have been to Les Ormes though iirc.

What do you want to do when there? That could make a difference.

As a slightly not at all what you asked for, The Prince of Wales Hotel in Greve de Lecq has a self catering apartment at the top of the hotel (or at least used to), and Greve de Lecq is a lovely beach for children, feels very safe.

Thanks for all the recommendations. I'm off to do some research!
