Best way to visit Cardiff Castle and Doctor Who sites with limited walking

Going to Cardiff tomorrow, will be there for about 6 hours with DS 13 years old, he likes castles and Dr Who. I can’t walk very much at the moment due to an injury, if I am going from the International Pool area how is it best to get to the castle? The tourist sightseeing bus doesn’t start until June otherwise I would get that. What Dr Who related things are good, or should be avoided? Thank you!

You can take the boat from the bay and disembark in the centre by the rugby stadium. That’s very near the castle. However I thought the Dr Who centre had closed so check that

I second the Aquabus. The international pool isn’t that close to the main part of the Bay, unfortunately so you may need a taxi.

Not a Dr Who fan but am from Cardiff. I’ll have a google.

Thanks everyone. We can get a bus to the castle and then we plan to get the water bus to the bay and wander around there. Thanks for the suggestion
