I've been on a few Just Go holidays before - coach travel, food included, it's all been excellent. However I've just booked for a friend and I to go away on one for five days - I was told there was a Single Supplement (which we've always paid before because neither of us likes sharing a room). This has always got us single occupancy of a double room.
This time, however, I was told there was only one single room available and I'd have to have a double. Fine, I thought, until I was told there was a single supplement charge for the SINGLE room, and double the single supplement was payable on the DOUBLE room.
Has anyone come across this before? I can't see how it can be right to charge a single supplement rate for a single room - when I've always paid a single supplement to occupy a double room before.
This was all booked well before fuel rates rose and war broke out in the ME, so I don't think it's extra charges by the backdoor, and I'd like to raise it with them, but is there an obvious reason that I'm missing?
