Asking for the world...🙄

I think im searching for a unicorn, but here goes.
I've been taking my granddaughter on holiday once a year for several years now.
She is 11.
Ideally..... looking for UK, private hot tub, indoor swimming pool, ad hoc activities ( she is autistic, finds joining in with strangers very difficult, but climbing walls, treetop activities etc ( anything we could do together essentially)...
Evening entertainment a non essential bonus.
Any chance of spa activities, and she'd be there !
Any ideas? Don't expect to get everything, but thought it was worth mentioning everything that would make the 'perfect' holiday😄

I think this is eminently manageable. Center parcs is the obvious one but I’d go for Sandy Balls. Pick the right accommodation and it fits all your criteria.

Thank you!
I've done center parts and was seriously underwhelmed.
Will have a look at Sandy Balls😁

Crieff hydro
Bluestone (not sure about hot tubs)
Some of the haven and parkdean sites have lodges with hot tubs
Forest holidays but they don’t have a pool

I came here to say this. I’ve been a few times and it was lovely each time (although not been for years now).

Warmwell has excellent facilities including a dry ski slope, roller rink and indoor pool with slides. No spa though unfortunately.

Silverbirchleaf · 07/03/2026 06:27

Silverbirchleaf · 07/03/2026 06:27

Searles in Hunstanton. Some lodges have hot tubs. It has an indoor pool and evening entertainment. I'm not sure about activities apart from crazy golf though.

Needlenardlenoo · 07/03/2026 13:20

Seconding Searles.

boulevardofbrokendreamss · 07/03/2026 18:21

Iow - away resorts.

Nowpause · 08/03/2026 15:34

I really can’t see see £3k per person for 6.5 weeks going very far unless you’re happy with youth hostels from start to finish and graveyard flights.

Apologies wrong thread!

The Manor Hotel in resort in Okehampton.

Ribby Hall in Lancs

Needlenardlenoo · 08/03/2026 19:16

I think the Manor Hotel would be totally overwhelming for a not very social autistic child. Hopefully the pools and rooms have been updated there since we visited in about 2018 as they were grotty! Good for racket sports though.
