Sheffield in March - ideas and map help!

Hi all, planning a surprise trip for my partners 66th birthday to Sheffield from Thursday 12th to Sunday 15th.

Got some real ale, beer festival, music and all sorts saved on google maps.

Does anyone know where I can get a decent street map of the centre so I can plan it out rather than having faces stuck into my phone map the whole time? I’d prefer to buy one as my printer hates me (it’s mutual) but can print if necessary. Tourist info seemed thin on the ground beyond a very detailed but overwhelming website.

The A-Z and AA ones online seem like they show the whole of Sheffield and we’d struggle to squint at the bit in the centre.

Anywhere us tourists should definitely visit?

We prefer independent venues over chains.

He’s a real ale, live music, vinyl loving, international food, coffee aficionado soul.

It looks amazing so can’t wait. :)

Joro isn't as central as it used to be, but they just got their first Michelin star, and it's the only restaurant I truely miss in the UK.

Kelham Island is defo worth a visit.

But Joro man, I miss you.

Just looked at Jörg, Lunch menu 1 on Thursday and Friday is 60 pounds. Seems quite good value for a Michelin star tasting menu

CAN YOU TAKE A PICTURE OF A CAR PARK SIGN FOR ME?!

Hello everyone. So an awesome time was had in Sheffield and we are going back… however… I’ve had a parking ticket fine. It took 20 days to reach me leaving 4 days to pay or appeal the £60 fine (which would then increase to £100).

they say we over stayed our 2 hours. I appealed.

Cameras show we were there for 2.5 hours. We paid £2.50 for 2-3 hours.

we paid via bank card and have evidence of this. I have evidence that the online booking system is the same price (3 hours will cost me £2.50).

I’ve lost the appeal but can appeal to the independent appeal service.

I really feel a recent picture of their signage would clear this up.
