What kind of mini break to give teenager break from exam revision?

i want to take my DD away for a break from A level revision over Easter for a couple of days. But I am struggling to think of what to do. She won’t like spas or walking and will get bored and fretful just sitting somewhere peaceful. City breaks won’t be particularly restful or a good change of scene (we live in a big city). She doesn’t like activity holidays. It needs to be a mix of restful and diverting. Somewhere in the South.

What about somewhere with a few theatres close by? Some will show films, livestreams of West End or international plays/ballets as well as their own live productions.
There's a pretty good theatre scene along the Sussex/Hampshire coast.

Southeastengland.com has some good ideas for the Easter holidays, from circus shows, food festivals, exhibitions, etc. That might help you narrow down where to stay.

Somewhere that lets her get away from feeling like a responsible almost-adult? Eg, fossil hunting at Lyme Regis, a theme park (but a bit of an old fashioned one), getting a ferry to the Isle of Wight. DS is younger but sometimes if he is stressed, organising something a bit old fashioned or younger than his years is brilliant for letting him relax and kind of emotionally regress/reset!

Would she like Harry Potter world? Or Bath with Jane Austen focus? Or stay in treehouse outside Cambridge? https://www.canopyandstars.co.uk/find-your-wild/inspiration/treehouses/treehouse-stays-within-2-hours-of-london/

Theme park?

Have you asked her what she wants to do, and made sure she wants to go?

My ds would have absolutely loved a break during revision months
However my dd would have been completely freaked out, stressed and upset if it interfered with her plans (revising and social)

Does she even want to go, neither of mine would have

Some great ideas thanks. She does want
to go and it will only be a couple of days and we won’t go far. She hasn’t had a holiday for nearly a year so she needs some kind of break that will be distracting but not overwhelming.

What a nice idea! My daughter and I love traditional seaside tyoe break, somewhere with amusement arcades and a pier and so on. Is there anywhere like that within travelling distance? We usually rent an apartment on Air B and B take some home spa stuff, have a couple of nice takeaway meals while we are there, watch some box sets etc - nice and relaxing! And see any local sites.....
