Looking for recommendations please.
Looking to visit Spitalfields, National Theatre St Paul’s, and round and about the area in July.
Thank you

Just stayed at Farringdon which was very good. There are a couple at Southwark also but we found the one near Borough Market quite old and noisy.

by distance, closest are Blackfriars, Southwark or hub London City Bank @FormerlySpeckledyHen, in July though budget may be a factor for you.

Thank you both very much. I’ll take a look at them.

Are you travelling by train? We always stay at King's Cross Premier Hub ...can.leave luggage there last day and its right by the station.

I really like Blackfriars, possibly because there is also the possibility of getting the Uber boat to your destinations.
The rooms are pretty big for London.

We stayed the Angel PI and it was a great location.

Southwark is great, tucked back off The Cut, lots of restaurants there to choose from, only built in Covid so newer rooms. Opposite Southwark Station and 5 mins from Waterloo in one direction and Tate Modern in the other.
