Hi All,

Looking to meet with another family half way between our houses and this is coming out near Ludlow, Shropshire. Does anyone know this area? We were thinking a centre parks type place, log cabins, bike tracks etc.

please send any suggestions, much appreciated

We stayed at Henley Hall just outside of Ludlow. We were a family of four (kids aged 2 and 4), grandparents, and a family of four with teenagers. We got a couple of apartments and it was great. Really spacious grounds and tennis courts. Depends if you want organised activities or not but otherwise I'd recommend this.

We stayed in an Airbnb on the outskirts of town. We loved Ludlow. The castle is amazing and there's a massive park down by the river. Lots of lovely shops too if you can escape the kids for a bit. Also went to Bridgnorth which was fun. You'll love it!

No idea about places to stay as we usually visit for a few hours as we only live an hour away… but I highly recommend breakfast at this place on the river near the weir: https://csons.uk/
