Blackpool hotel recommendations

DH and I are going to a show in Blackpool Winter Gardens at the end of January. We're going to be there for two nights but I can't decide on a hotel. We'd love one with a pool or a spa.
Has anyone got a recommendation please?

Village hotel blackpool. About a 7 minute taxi ride to winter gardens. Lovely golf course, restaurant, gym and spa

Second the Village. It’s away from all the madness on the front but near enough to get to things easily. We stayed there a good few years ago for a family event and it was lovely.

It depends if you want to be central or are prepared to drive/get a taxi.

The Village hotel is lovely, but there’s also The Boulevard and Big Blue Hotel near the Pleasure Beach, then you can get a team up towards central pier.
