I feel like I am looking for a needle in a haystack at the moment because I don't know WHERE might be a good to go.
Thinking of going away over Christmas within a 2h drive of London (easy train journey a bonus). Key points are:
- parents, dad has mobility issues but can often be happy in nice surroundings
- mum and I might like some nice walks but low level intensity
- views, ideally beach views
- kids aged almost 15, 18, 20 - they are mostly unbothered about things, they will join in board games, happily play football (train useful so they could stay a couple of days and go home if they wanted)
- maybe 5-7 days
Over Christmas we are quite quiet, we only really do Christmas Day and the DC usually just hang about playing games/cards so it would just be moving to another location, they don't seem to crave lots of activity, though having something to do nearby is no bad thing.
