New passport

Flying to Belfast International from Southampton. As we will have luggage in the hold, passports will be needed. Our passports expired 25 years ago so new ones needed. I don't know what surname to use on passport. I was born before 1983 so I know I need my full birth certificate. So that has my maiden name, I married and divorced, I then re married. So I have a maiden name, I never changed driving licence, or bills or bank to second marriage name. All my documents have first marriage name on. Therefore if any other documents are needed they are all in first marriage name. Do I apply under first marriage name.

The gov website should give you all the up to date info-I got a new passport after marriage and I think I had to send off my certificate, but that was a long while ago, so you're probably best looking at it online, or if you prefer, the Post Office might be able to advise on current rules.

Change your documents?

Why do you need a passport? It's a domestic flight. Do you have a photocard driving license?

Did you take your second husband’s name? What is your current legal surname as per your second marriage certificate?
