Heysham ferry terminal- facilities?

Niche but maybe Mumsnet will know, because Google doesn’t seem to! I’m taking the 2 am ferry to the Isle of Man from Heysham and will be driving up from Surrey in one day, so will have an evening and first part of the night to kill once I reach the end of the drive. I’ll be on my own with 3 dogs, which I can obviously leave in the car briefly for refreshment stops but not for a long time, or can take around on a short urban walk but not for lengthy sightseeing. I guess I can spend the evening in Lancaster, but is there anywhere I’d be able to get a drink around 11 or midnight at the terminal? The online information seems very out of date or AI generated, because I can see it’s wrong, so any information from real people would be much appreciated! Thank you!

There is a services- Lancaster northbound- around 20 mins away that id use. Saw lots of people with dogs there also!

I’ve only been at the terminal in the daytime, but even then facilities were very limited.

Just in case anybody else wants to know - turns out there is a shiny new customer area at Heysham with nice seats, toilets, vending machines and a small food area selling drinks and snacks, even at midnight. Also a grassy area in the terminal suitable for dog use. So it was all fine in the end, thanks for the advice.
