Day return train ticket - definition?

Im trying to book a train ticket where the return is just past midnight the next day

So not the same day

It seems to be suggesting I can travel back on the train I want, but then the explanation of the ticket (super off peak return) says 'valid for travel the same day'.

Does anyone know if its considered the same day, if Im coming back like that?

I think it’s usually 430 the following morning rather than midnight

4.30 the next morning is often the standard.
