Must have good food, things for children, not be stuffy, and within an easy drive of Bath. Boys are two and four.
We can't take the time for a summer holiday (I am ill and have unexpected "time off" between treatments) so don't really care about price, just want somewhere nice and relaxing. Formal is not our style, nor is braying and wealth splashing. We definitely don't have a 4x4 but the boys and I do have some Boden .
We've stayed at Woolley Grange (nearby) before and liked it but this time I'd like somewhere with really good food as I can rarely go out and have spent far too much of last eighteen months not really enjoying my food.
Any ideas?
What is Babington House like? Is it very trendy or pretentious? We no longer care about wearing clothes with smears of humous on them and I am so relaxed about living in Birkenstocks I forget that "proper women" wear flimsy shoes with heels ...
