Recommendations for cozy getaway for 2 please (plus dogs!)

We have a few child free days last week of March and looking for recommendations on cottages.
would look at Wales, new forest, Lake District- or open to other suggestions!

need to take 2 dogs, would like good walks, a walkable pub & bonus would be sea or lake.

I’ve had some health issues lately & would really like something a little romantic, so we can bunker down & get away from life for a bit!

looking at around £400 for 3-4 nights so not huge budget.

any suggestions? Thanks in advance

I have friends that have stayed here several times and they love it.

Thanks, that does look lovely, but would be nearly £600 for 3 nights with the dogs which is just too much for me 😥

Allonby on the Cumbrian coast is lovely and very dog friendly. Silloth nearby is lovely to visit too.
This is just one cottage ( not stayed there) but there are others

Netherby Hall just north of Carlisle fits your bill completely - really great accommodation, loads of great countryside nearby, can’t fault it

New Forest is lovely. Very dog friendly and you have the choice of the forest or sea for walks. Try Shorefield holidays for static caravans (Milford on Sea) or newforestcottages.co.uk. Most hotels are dog friendly too!
