Edinburgh - The Dome

I have a weekend in Edinburgh soon and would like to visit The Dome - either for just a drink and/or a light meal/snack. To get the full experience to view the interior what's the best way of doing this without spending a fortune. There seem to be several rooms/bars and I don't want to just go to the bar for example and miss the main room (which I think is The Grill Room).

Following as also very interested in hearing the responses to this. Would love to visit.

And just checking the website and see they have bar tables in The Grill Room as well as restaurant tables - would this be the best choice?

It's been a few years since I last went but we just went in and went to the bar in the grill room without booking.

I was just going to add if there's an option to book for bar tables I would do that as it does get busy! So yes I'd do that

You can just go for a drink in the main room if you don't want to pay for a meal (Edinburgh local here)
