Cornwall/Devon with a 3 year old

Hi all.

Looking to go down to Devon or Cornwall in late June for a week with a 3 year old.

Things we’d like to do:
Nice farm/animal sanctuary/zoo
Aquariums
Spend time on nice sandy beaches
Short walks in picturesque locations
Nice food

I’ll be heavily pregnant so not looking for anything too strenuous.

Any recommendations for general areas to stay? Or any recommendations for days out/things to do with young children in the area?

thanks!

Have a look at Polperro or Fowey. Both have lots of nice places to eat, shops and short walks near to the centre. They both have a small tidal beach. There's a little aquarium on Fowey.

There is a Monkey Sanctuary close by, you can walk with Alpacas on Bodmin Moor which I think a 3 year old would love. Talland Bay is near Polperro and great for crabbing. Par Sands is a huge sandy beach nearby. There are lots of farms to visit have a look on Air bnb experiences. Also Looe has a huge sandy beach

North Devon - around Ilfracombe area I would say.

Was about to say Fowey! That bit of the south coast is lovely, Polperro, Fowey and Looe. You can go crabbing in Looe, there's a little science museum in Bodmin, a donkey sanctuary a short drive away. Cornglaze Caverns is awesome and it's quite near Jamaica Inn for lunch and a look around the smugglers museum. The Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are a short drive and great for that age. If you fancy a day trip to the North Coast then Tintagel Castle and the beaches in Bude are great.

Newquay also has a zoo, aquarium (I think) and lovely beaches - more surfer though.

It's next door in Dorset but I love Weymouth.
Beautiful sandy beach. Sea Life Centre (it's an outdoor one).
