Easter getaway...

Looking to go away over the Easter long weekend - me, DH and DS(3). Ideally somewhere in the countryside or near the beach with walks on the doorstep and space for DS to run about.

Can anyone recommend any accommodation that might fit the bill? Maybe a cottage or a lodge? No budget in mind but looking for somewhere with a little bit of luxury.

Looking within a 2.5 hour radius of the Midlands (so not as far south as Devon and not as far north as the Lake District).

Thank you!

Scarborough! We love it. Loads to do, rain or shine. Stunning views and beaches. A waterpark, aquarium, open air theatre, loads more. We usually get an air b&b.

Whitby or North Wales both great areas.
Small Children love Caravan parks with activities, Haven Park Dean might be worth a look?
Conwy / Llandudno is at great base with plenty of places to stay

Definitely North Yorkshire coast - anywhere between Saltburn (which might be Teeside) down to Hornsea, eg

As well as the coast you have the Yorkshire Wolds and the North York Moors. So endless things to see and do.
