dh can't fly, so needs to be in the uk. Really wanted gorgeous week in secluded villa in fab sun, but can't happen obv! Pref somewhere with a hot tub and pool, but other than that, just fab!

Could be france - with the Eurostar? WIdens your options a bit, if it appeals. Or ferry to somewhere.

Will be watching with interest, it's our 20th this year too, but we can only manage a weekend.

The Big Cottage was fab, I won a stay in a mn competition. Thoroughly recommend. It has hot tub and pool.

Here in The Lakes .Has a hot tub and they can do lovely meals in the evenings if required.

Thanks everybody. We are in midlands. Dh can't travel for too long (2-3 hours max) due to disability. The big cottage looks absolutely brill, have added to my faves for other family hols, but was thinking something just for the 2 of us. Gitcombe looks lovely too, but think is might be a bit too far, but again, have added it to faves for future ref.
