Good evening,
Looking to visit Cornwall next Summer.
Couple in our 30s with a 2 year old.
We are foodies but also like walking and general sightseeing - beaches don't interest us much unless part of a coastal walk.

I'd appreciate any recommendations for our itinerary/where to stay/base ourselves/where to visit? Thanks xx

Falmouth might be nice. Depending on when you stay, it has various festivals etc, lots of restaurants and some lovely walks. It's pretty central for west Cornwall, and there's some interesting boat trips from there. It's coastal, so there are some lovely safe beaches if you or your DC fancied a paddle.

Your 2 year old would love the beach - you cannot go to Cornwall and not visit the beach every day with a 2yo! The North Coast is particularly beautiful: Treyarnon, Constantine, Trevose, Mother Ivey's, Harlyn. It's on the SW coastal path. Padstow is nearby for food, and The Pig at Harlyn.

I’d suggest the area just north of Newquay, around Padstow. Newquay has a zoo and aquarium. There’s also Camel Creek which your 2yo would enjoy, a fantastic walk at Bedruthan https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/cornwall/carnewas-at-bedruthan/carnewas-at-bedruthan-coast-walk, and a stunning walk here: https://www.islandeering.com/activity/porth-to-watergate-bay-walk/
