Anyone know Cambridge well?

I'm looking for some help to book a night away in Cambridge but I'm not sure if what I want actually exists!
I would like a hotel with Spa, where we can get a massage etc that is city centre ideally. Would like to walk into the city for dinner and drinks in the evening with out having to get a cab.
In the evening I would like to go to a gin bar. Ive seen the gin laboratory but don't want classes, just a bar with lots of fun gins to choose from.
Can anyone help?
Also, ideally parking at the hotel.

There are two hotels which might fit your requirements although I wouldn't say either has a full-size spa, perhaps more a pool and fitness area.
They are the Graduate Hotel and the Gonville and Caius (pronounced Keys).
Both are quite expensive but are well placed for the centre. The G And C has parking, not sure about the Graduate.
The nearest place with a proper Spa is at Quy Mill, well outside the city but no problem if you have a car. It has parking.

Can't help on the hotel - Cambridge city centre is small and crowded so you may need to compromise on your criteria.

In terms of gin bar you are describing Pint Shop.

Plenty of city centre hotels.

None with a full spa.

You'd need to go a fair way outside the city for that.

Varsity, Gonville Hotel or maybe the Lensfield? All city centre. The Varsity has valet parking but any parking in Cambridge city centre is £££ and crowded!

Thanks for the info. Full spa not necessary then. A pool and some treatments on offer maybe?
I'll check out the suggestions.

I’d second Varsity Hotel, treatments there are great, and it’s in the middle of town.

University arms is lovely and very central - it has a beauty suite plus a gorgeous bar. I've stayed there so can vouch for the quality of the rooms and breakfast too 😀

The varsity looks great, leaning towards this. Trying to think if there is a way I can book it without dh seeing it on the online banking. I assume I have to pay in advance.

The pint shop is on the itinerary too. Thanks

If you're going to the pint shop definitely get there earlier than you'd like a drink, it gets very very busy.

On a weekend you'll likely end up standing at the little shelf tables by the front door for 45 mins or so while you wait for a table to free up.

I would recommend The Gonville. We had a great stay there and excellent breakfast with v comfortable room.
