Anyone live in Bath?

I'm off to a hen weekend in Bath at the end of june, when I'll be 7 months pregnant. While there I would like to go somewhere for a nice manicure & pedicure and a hair cut.

Can anyone recommend a good and slightly luxurious Beauty salon and/or hair dressers. I don't mind if it's slighty on the expensive size as this will be a treat from hubby!!

Many thanks

Hmm. Do you want salon and hairdresser in one spot? Are you sure?

I can think of good salons, but not sure they have hairdressers too.

You could book into the Spa at Royal Crescent Hotel - that is v. luxy and enjoyable. Also the Bath Spa Hotel has a nice one for a whole day.

Then there is the actual Bath Spa, which is great but quite civic and not very luxy.

The Boat House at the Royal Crescent is probably top for a treat.

Oh no look it's actually called the bath house

Would agree with the Royal Crescent. Also, although I have never been there, I have heard Green Street House recommended and it does hair too!

I have been to Green Street [bath ponce emoticon] And it is nice and good, but not a relax for the day type place. More go in and have treatment and come out.

Ooh, lucky you 100x. I always feel intimidated by the good looking receptionists in such places.

LOL. I knocked over their 'interesting' Christmas display in Green Street. Scattered 'product' all over the floor. They were v. nice about it.

Many thanks, will have a look.

I don't necessarily want the same place for both, as was thinking of the getting the salon treatments (not really after a place to lounge about - just really want the treatments done there) done on the friday afternoon and then a haircut on the saturday.

I'm liking the look of Green Street. I think the Spa places may be wasted on me - what with being 7 months preg by then.

How about good hairdressers then ladies?

many thanks again

I think this place is the best probably. I like the Bartlett Street salon best.
