Looking for somewhere nice but also child friendly in Liverpool on a Saturday night - after Christmas- for a birthday meal for my mum. She doesn't like anything too spicy and has a seafood allergy. Child is 10 and not fussy but is lactose intolerant.
Any suggestions please

Have a look at Lark Lane or Bold Street plenty of Choice The Mexican La Parilla has one in both streets, its not spicy unless you ask for it, great food and service.

You can’t go wrong with maray.

The casa Italia (they have options without cheese and is always a favourite 😍)
Maray
Salt House
Mowgli (my favourite but check out the menu, I don't find spicy but your mum might)
Carriage works (really lovely)
Cosy club
Lunya (it's really lush)
If meat, meat and more meat is your jam the red dog saloon

Liverpool has lots of independent places to eat, have a mooch of menus and reviews.

Hope your mum enjoys her birthday meal x
