I have very luckily got tickets to see Coldplay in 2025 and I am now in the process of looking for a hotel.

Not after anything fancy so looking at Travelodge but there are sooo many of them. I know absolutely nothing of London so after some advice please.

What is the best area to stay in for getting public transport in and out of Wembley?

Is Kew Bridge any good (this is the cheapest option)

Or is it just worth paying the extra to stay at the London Wembley hotel?
TIA

@wheretheheckissummer

You could look at somewhere near Liverpool Street/Aldgate and get the Metropolitan Line round to Wembley Park station.

There are a few Travelodges in the area. This is one, but there are a couple of others not far away.

Thanks. I have actually booked a hotel near Kings Cross St Pancreas which I believe is on the Metropolitan Line. Hopefully won't get lost haha

You are so lucky, I wasn't able to get tickets yesterday.
You literally won't get lost. Get the metropolitan line from kings x to Wembley park, follow the crowds there and back. It's a straight path from station to stadium

Thank you! I know I really can't believe my luck! Got them on Presale on Thursday, logged on at 8.55 and had them by 9.15!! I was in shock in all day 🤣

I'm no london expert but whenever I go to massive gigs like this I always think the closer the better and its always worth paying for it! You will be queuing for the tube/ bus etc and will be glad you paid more if you can just walk your way outta there x

The OP will alright at Kings X. Wembley is excellent for public transport. If tubes aren't working there's buses that can get them Paddington, they can walk to Wembley Central station get the overground to Euston. Wembley Stadium overground train goes to Marylebone and Baker st is round the corner I used to live in Wembley 😁.

Edited

I should clarify Baker St is round the corner from Marylebone not Wembley! 🤣🤣

When we went to TS we stayed at the Ttavel Lodge, high Road and it was perfect. We excited out a different entrance and we were walking back towards hotel in 5 mins after the concert bypassing Wembley Way.

Kings Cross is perfect. Good choice OP.
