I dont mind caravan, or cottage or holidays sites with lots of cheesey entertainment. i am not a well-to-do person. budget upto around £500-ish i guess.

i did want to go camping in france at one of those places where they provide everything including the tent, but as dh pionted out he is a b*gger to take out travel insurence and it will cost a lot just for his insurence. so thats out.

2 adults and 4[gulps] children between the ages of under 1year old-9years old.

Is that £500 ish per person or each, and do you want 1 week or 2 for that?

Misdee insurance for transplants gets cheaper after time.It decreases with the years iyswim. Also there are specialist agencies for it which do not over charge esp for europe. Why don't you rent a lovely cottage on the coast somewhere?

Trevornick in Cornwall have ready erected tents that might be within budget.

in total CSWS. i know it may have to be [gasp] holiday in termtime for that, would love to be able to go actually in the summer holidays but we are usually priced out. mind you we do go to the family caravan as well if no-one is using it, and put some £££ into the pot for that.
