Haven caravan parks

Does anyone know if you get your keys left in your caravan or do you have to check in and get them from the check in team? Reason I'm asking is I'm staying on one of the massive sites and my van is a long, long walk from the check in kiosk, but as I'm travelling by foot, it's much quicker to go to my van rather than the reception. Thanks!

At the one we were in the key was in the van when we arrived - they did check us off as we got to the park though (we were driving) so assuming you'd still need to let them know you'd arrived somehow?

Contact them and ask, Ours where in a Key box we just got a code texted to us.
But it was a Privately owned caravan on a Haven site.
Which site?

The one we went to had a check in kiosk at the main entrance and handed us the key and checked us as we drove in, like a drive through window.

Ah thank you. So they're all different it seems. I might contact the park and ask. If my caravan is open, I can dump all my stuff and take a breather and then go to check in at the check in kiosk. I've stayed there before and can't for the life of me remember what happened at check in.

Post Covid we've always had a check in like on arrival with Haven. What park?

If you download the Haven app I'm sure it has the check in process and FAQs for your site on it.

At Greenacres in North Wales where we stay, they check us in as we drive through via our numberplate and they send us straight to our caravan which has a sticker seal with our name on and the keys are inside the caravan.

I'm not sure if your caravan will have the same set up and on the Haven app, you can "check in"
