LNER strikes and underground

Non-Londoner here. We're supposed to be travelling from the north of England to see ABBA Voyager on the days now stated as planned industrial action for October.

Naive question - but will the tube be affected as well? Do LNER operate the underground?

No, the tube is separate.

No, the underground is run by Transport for London. Strike days can coincide but it doesn't look as if any strikes are planned currently for TfL.

I would be surprised if these strikes are still going on by October but if you have a car, I'd be tempted to drive to Luton Airport and then get the train in from there. It does involve a tram to get to Luton Airport Parkway station but parking is obviously plentiful.

Alternatively you could use a different train company to get to, say, Sheffield and then use East Midlands trains to London.
