Help us find somewhere in Cornwall

Can you help us find somewhere to stay in cornwall, in September, for me and DH, a well behaved dog and DS(21). We like good food, sandy beaches, nice pubs and places to see and go.

We want to be fairly central in a town but with easy access to a beach (access to beach needs to be level as DS can't do walk long distances or hills etc).

Would be grateful for any recommendations. TIA

St Ives would be amazing. But watch for seagulls: they swoop down and eat anything in your hands.

Brilliant, thanks @Easipeelerie

Sen Ben Cove has an enormous beautiful beach and pubs. Can be windy as it’s nearly at Lsnd’s End.

Should say Sennen.

St.Ives is very nice, We had a good time a few years ago in Bude, it was like stepping back in time but in a good way. Lovely people lovely house 5 mins flat walk to the beach a bit longer in to the town slightly uphill.

It's absolutely beautiful

As much as I love St Ives I have to say it's quite hilly! A lot of Cornwall is

Perranporth? Dog friendly and good access to the beach

Might be good to check which beaches are dog friendly. Some have times when dogs aren’t allowed, and possible other restrictions

Marazion.

St Michael's Mount is right there and the coastal walks are something else.
