No win, no fee?

I may well know the answer already but if anyone is around a quick reply would be most welcomed!

I got a phone call (following an accident on the M5 where someone went into the back of me in supposedly stationary traffic) from a legal advice centre saying I could claim damages from the third party due to injury and letting me know that some solicitors would be working on my behalf; injury (headache, whiplash, arm, elbow and/or neck pain. Also anxiety - a claim of up to £2200 in my interest - with 40% being the fee extracted from any successful claim; no win/no fee basis.

I mean I do get headaches and neck pain, also both my arms are painful at times - but can't guarantee that is as a result of the bump on the M5. Has anyone else done this and is it worth it? Or should I run a mile?
Thanks in grateful anticipation!

How did they know you had an accident?

I have had calls where they say "about your recent accident..." as though they are aware of one.( I hadn't had an accident).

They are just fishing, knowing that at some point they will find someone who has had an accident.

If you want to pursue some form of claim I would suggrst you do your own search for legal representation or contact your insurers.
