Cornwall, nice accommodation, dog friendly and by beach

Just had a family chat and that is what they want this summer. Any recommendations?

This place is lovely.

Una St Ives is gorgeous, very dog friendly and you can walk to Carbis Bay from there. The restaurant on site is fab and you can take the dog in. And lovely pool so plenty to do if weather is rubbish.

what is your budget?

Before you book anywhere check the dogs on beach policy....we got caught out once not realising some beaches ban dogs from May-September.

Have a look at the Headland Hotel at Fistral. They have cottages which are dog friendly, some are 3 beds. Fistral is dog friendly, you get access to the new aqua spa and there are plenty of restaurants if you want to eat out and a surf school. It might be a bit late for this summer as things book up quickly but you might get lucky.

We stay at Retallack (Away Resorts) which is dog friendly, has water sports etc for teenagers, decent accommodation and is near Padstow & 7 bays beaches, most of which are dog friendly too.
