Buying e-tickets with Network Railcard?

Have just purchased myself a Network railcard to reduce my weekly Saturday trip into central London from our home just out of Oyster zone. Have tried to use it on the apps I usually use (Trainline etc) but it’s only giving me the option of collecting tix at station. Am useless with paper so need them electronically - anyone know if it’s possible? The SWR smartcard is useless so not that Thanks

It is a bit of a faff, but you can use multiple apps for tickets and railcards (have both apps open at the same time).

The issue is PROBABLY that your trip involves a switch of trains.

I have to use paper tickets whenever I involve the Elizabeth Line from Paddington.

You could try buying tickets from another app, or maybe split the journey?

The railcard in whatever format is nothing to do whether digital tickets are available. It's as pp says, some routes you need paper tickets for. You can still buy them with the railcard discount.

Also have cards on Trip and it took us a while to find the things a few weeks later.

Click on the "Trains" icon on the homepage.

The "my railcards" button is then 1/2 way down the screen on the right hand side below the journey "search" button.
