Bodmin Jail Hotel?

Has anyone ever stayed there? Would you recommend it?

Following with interest as I'd love to stay. They're converting a police station in Newcastle to a hotel too.

I'm going to stay in December (if you can wait until then for a review!)

I went there for lunch last year, which was nice. Food was fine, nothing outstanding. Staff were very pleasant.

I haven’t been since it was converted but when I went round the jail a few years ago, I felt seriously spooked. The hotel rooms are former cells & I would have to be paid a lot of money to stay in one after what I experienced. In fact the whole town makes me very uncomfortable.
