Older teens. Just 3 or 4 nights away.

Somewhere we can do walks, beach would be nice.

St David's in West Wales is pretty and very very dog friendly.

Just south of the North Yorkshire Moors - the coastline from Scarborough to Filey (and a little beyond) is very dog friendly. Dogs allowed all year round at Cayton Bay and Hunmanby Gap and some terrific coastal walks along the Cleveland Way. You won’t be far from Dalby Forest which has a few nice dog-friendly circular trails, and you can catch the North Yorkshire Moors steam railway from Pickering (dogs are allowed on the trains). If the teens need something else to do, there’s surfing at Cayton Bay or Filey, Go Ape and mountain bike hire at Dalby Forest, plus lots of amusements in Scarborough.

North Wales, Conwy, Llandudno area or Llyn Peninsular Criccieth, Porthmadog etc.

All very friendly with the exception of Abersoch, no idea why but many of the pubs etc will no longer allow dogs, but not seen this in the rest of wales?
Conwy and Llandudno are totally different but very near each other ( 10 mins drive) When its busy in the summer this local beach is usually empty as people drive past it and don't seem to go, its ideal for dog walks

Plenty of walks and waterfalls

Just a wild card but have you considered Liverpool? Great city and it has 4 beaches nearby? Never had and No dog issues in Liverpool, in fact the tourists love them!

Have you considered the lovely village of Newport in Pembrokeshire (not the city of Newport). Totally beautiful and the most dog-friendly beach you can imagine. https://www.visitwales.com/destinations/west-wales/pembrokeshire/things-do-newport. This holiday let is new for this year and sleeps 6 plus dogs. Couldn't be closer to the beach! https://www.peg-y-don.com/
