Everton tickets!

I am looking to take dh to see his beloved Everton for his birthday. We live in the south east so nowhere near and are not season ticket holders. I've tried a few times now through the club and can't get tickets. The tours are all charging 4 x per ticket. Is there any other way?

Its hard to get tix for Everton games...much much harder now than when i was a youngster and we were winning leagues and cups...!
