Hi! Has anyone been to both and could share your thoughts on which you preferred? We have a 1 year old and a 6 year old. Thanks 😊

Following with interest @kate288 - we have both booked for this year. Have done Crieff Hydro a good few times pre-kids but this will be our first time with 😊 First time at CP this month!

I think they both have pluses and minuses. Crieff is a bit fancier and the facilities/setting are fab. Center Parcs has a greater range of choices of places to eat, and at least at the Longleat one, I think the spa is slightly nicer. Possibly Crieff is a bit better with young kids (Big Country!) and Center Parcs a bit better with older ones, but I don't have older ones yet so that's just a hypothesis.

We much prefer the hydro but it doesn't have the huge range of activities that CP does. The hydro family pool is just a baby pool and a rectangular swimming pool - there is a big inflatable slide during certain times.

Center Parcs isn't for us at all, we felt quite hemmed in and thought the whole vibe was weird. The hydro is in the middle of some incredible countryside and we're out and about daily when there so they're quite different holidays.

Thank you! The pool at CP is probably the thing that draws us to it most over crieff but my older DD isn't very confident in the water anyway and enjoys just paddling about so it might not be much of an issue. Think we'll go for Crieff this year while our youngest is so little.
