Going to be staying in Lustleigh near Newton Abbot
Wanting to book a nice Sunday lunch ...any suggestions ?
It will be Easter Sunday

The Cleave in Lustleigh itself is good. Bar section more atmospheric than the restaurant but tends to book up quicker. Pickle and Rhum brassiere at the Moorland Hotel is ok, if you prefer more of a restaurant vibe. Really like the Rugglestone Inn, which is in Widdecombe-on-the-Moor. Bit further - probably a very scenic 25 minute drive over the moor.

Any places you'd recommend for a Saturday evening ?

Same places, really, if you’re happy with decent pub food. If were you I’d probably book The Cleave for the Saturday night and then the Rugglestone Inn for Sunday lunch. You could then work the Sunday lunch into a day out if you wanted. Have fun, it’s a wonderful area!
