Things to do in Co Fermanagh

Going to Co Fermanagh in the summer for a week. Does anyone have any recommendations of things to do in the area?

Just back from a week seeing dh's family. What kind of things do you like?

My personal favourites would include Marble Arch caves and wandering around the grounds of Crom Castle in the rain.

Boat trip to Devenish Island. Drive around Lough Erne? Visit Boa island to see the Janus stone. Visit Enniskillen Castle museum (their cafe has lovely scones). The Firehouse in Enniskillen does excellent food and was good with the kids.

Tour of Belleek pottery? That was top of my sister in law's list.

My kids loved our trip out of Fermanagh up to the Sperrins to visit the Trolls (they might officially be giants). There are three of them, 2 easily accessible and one up a hill.

Cliffs of Magho viewpoint and second Marble Arch caves.

Remember the Marble Arch Caves and tour of Beleek Pottery 38 yrs ago on a school trip. Was amazing.

If you're into walking there's The Stairway to Heaven.

Castles: Tully, Monea, Portora and Lisnaskea. Nice lakeside walk at Tully. All ruins.

Lough Navar walks and viewpoint

Lakeside walk at Ely

Riverside walk at the Cladagh Glen. Tie in with Marble Arch Caves.

Also big walk up Cuilcagh. Small walk up Topped Mountain.

NT at Florencecourt and Castlecoole.

Playgrounds at the Round O, the Forum (Enniskillen Sports Centre/swimming pool) and just over the border at Blacklion.

Forthill climb Cole's Monument.
