Has anyone recently stayed there? And if so, would you stay again or would you stay nearby? Trying to work out what to do. Looking at end of June, my DS will be nearly 3 by then. Also considered staying nearby so that we can do a trip to a park/national trust place before going home.

Which way is honey and which BT place were you thinking of? Sudbury Hall is usually good for kids Wink

Home not honey. This autocorrect is bonkers!

Hahah! Thanks! Good to know. We're in Hertfordshire so I'll check it out and see if it's on the way back

We stayed in Splash Landings Hotel last June when ds was nearly 2 and we had a great time!! Ds loved the bugbie go round ride, meeting Duggee, the Hey Duggee playground and the water park the most!! The breakfast in the hotel was great and the entertainment was good too!! The food in the on-site restaurant was alright but so expensive for what it was though and the drinks were really expensive in the bar at the entertainment too.

We stayed in CBeebies Land Hotel in January this year when ds was nearly 2 and a half and he loved all of the interactive bits in the reception area and high fiving the CBeebies characters at the meet greets!! The room was amazing and completely designed for toddlers!! The only thing that I found strange was that the entertainment was more targeted to older kids (maybe 4+) as it was a lot of sitting and watching/not running into the stage bit (which was literally separated by a soft movable beam that the children kept getting told off for moving 😩) so it was a bit rubbish for the little ones who just wanted to run around 🙈 Ds spent a lot of it just running back to the reception area and playing with the stuff there 🤔
The breakfast wasn’t as good as it was in Splash Landings Hotel either and the food was so expensive that everyone ended up ordering takeaways to eat at the entertainment (which was allowed but wasn’t the best food 🤷‍♀️)
The water park was the best bit this time and the theme park wasn’t open but we did enjoy a game of mini golf 🤗

Thanks! That's really good to know. Splash landings is so much cheaper on the dates we're looking at (end of June) so I wondered what it was like there. Is the entertainment in the afternoon/evening? DS might have dropped a nap by then so might be going to bed a bit earlier to compensate
