Looking for weekend away

Wanting to go away with DH around 2 hours (max) from London. Can anyone recommend nice hotels with good food? Or is there a website that groups together all the special offers?

We can either drive or take the train. Budget probably £500-600. We have y been away for ages and need a special time away

In that case I’d suggest the Cotswolds - and specifically take a look at the Lygon Arms in Broadway.

Broadway is beautiful and lots of other lovely places to visit nearby. Some nice places to eat too. If you don’t like the look of the Lygon the nearby fish hotel is lovely too.
