Accessible holidays

My lovely mum is 84 and I'm planning a short break for the two of us somewhere in the Pickering area, sometime in May. We'd like to stay in a holiday cottage

She walks with a stick and is a bit wobbly so would struggle to get in and out of a bath. At home she has a walk in shower unit

I've been looking through the seemingly endless options online but so many places which say they are accessible have a standard showers over the bath arrangement.

Wondered if anyone knows of a reputable company which offers genuinely accessible holiday accomm.

Tia

Have a look at Eastgate Cottages. They’re based in Pickering and many have walk in showers. They also have a range of equipment you can use such as toilet seat raisers, shower stools etc…

We have stayed here a few times (but not for ages) and from their brochure it looks like they have some cottages with separate showers (rather than over bath).
