Like so many of us who are trying to escape the rainy dreariness, I am trying to book the summer break. Has anyone stayed at Finlake or Landal (Clowance or Gwen An Mor) please? If so, any thoughts about what is good about those/both?

Have 12 and 14 yr olds, one who is autistic and likes smaller areas/reduced stimulation. I wonder if Clowance is better to be honest as seems less in terms of people, activities etc.

Thanks. We did Air BnB last year which was in the middle of nowhere and that was not great as it meant we were always out (this did not work). So being able to chill at the venue is helpful.

Thanks!

Holiday resort Landal Clowance | Landal GreenParks

Landal Clowance is located in the southwest of the United Kingdom. Here you are welcome for a relaxing holiday, hidden between forests, countryside and a beautiful recreational lake.

It was pretty dreary in Cornwall for most of last summer I'm afraid!

Ah thanks @NorthCliffs , West Wales was the same! Anyone else?

When I say 'dreary', I mean 'hoofing it down for months'. My garden still hasn't recovered!

Hi, I’m in a similar situation (boys 12 and 14 but no extra needs, apart from their age 💀💀💀) looking for this October. What did you do? Did it work? It’s hard to find threads for children 12+, hard to find clothes too 🤣 And, as you said places to stay designed around their needs xxx

I found Dylan Coastal Resort worked with young teens. They enjoyed pool and gym. Did surf lessons and walking etc.
