Bath - hotel recommendations

Any recommendations for a nice hotel in Bath please for a weekend away in December for me and DP. Not mega expensive but just nice, clean and fairly central. Parking included would be great. Would consider something a little quirky. Also anything a little bit different to do in Bath would be great if anyone has any suggestions.

Haringtons hotel was a nice independent hotel and when I stayed there many years ago you could get a good rate on the car park round the corner. From memory they offered breakfast but not evening meals. Definitely worth a look .

No 15 by Guesthouse is really lovely & central, a bit pricey though

Indigo. Very central (I don’t think there’s parking though).

Parking is an issue with many Bath hotels if they are in cental Georgian houses. (many used to offer guest parking permits for on street parking but council withdrew this option)
There are 2 outer city park and ride sites.

We stayed at a place called bath townhouse, above a pub and cafe. Central, don't think it has parking but there's public parking. Like many central hotels it can be a bit noisy if you get a front facing room so ask for away from the street. It was cheaper than most, which isn't saying a lot because bath is expensive.

Carfax, if its still there. On Booking.com you can filter by parking availability. Consider self catering apartments too.

I’ve stayed at No 15 by Guesthouse before but it is pricey.

Now I tend to go for a b&b just outside Bath on main road into it (about 10 min walk) or stay with relatives.

This place is lovely - quirky, walking distance to the centre and has parking...but is also ££ - not sure what your definition is of mega expensive but you get a third night free and free tickets to the thermae spa.

Bath is expensive anyway, but the prices have rocketed for December because the Christmas market is so popular.
