Ambleside eating out

Going to Ambleside at half term with extended family . Staying in the centre and I do know it pretty well but not been for couple of years. Can anyone recommend places to eat out for 10 people aged from 11-80? Would love somewhere for great Sunday lunch, can drive to that .
Looking for nice places that handle big groups well rather than super fancy places.

Dodds and The Priest Hole would be my recommendations in Ambleside. Both cater well for large families and have something on the menu for everyone. We also love Boardwalk bar and grill on Windermere.

Queens head at troutbeck for Sunday lunch
Lucy’s and zafarelli’s (it’s veggie though)

The Badger Bar at Rydal does Sunday lunch. I've been with a big group in the evening and it worked well so assume they could manage it at lunchtime too. You do need to book.

Lucy’s would be a lovely spot for this- just make sure you tell them what you’ve been up to :)

Is Lucy's still good? Was always my favourite. Veggie is good for most people thanks

The Sun Inn at Troutbeck Bridge apparently does a good Sunday carvery as does the Newby Bridge Hotel at the foot of Windermere.
