what parts of the UK that you have never or rarely been to would you love to go to?

Cornwall would be great

I'm from South Wales so have done a lot of the West side of the UK plus Scotland and Ireland but never anything over the East Side. No use why

I'm planning a tour of all the places Mumsnet rates very low - starting with Wigan. I'm from Dublin (also disliked on Mumsnet) and I want to find out what these other unpopular places are actually like.

The west coast of wales. The Hebrides or Shetland Islands.

Northumberland

Cornwall I've never been more south than London. Dh is from the Highlands so we've been up there a lot but still bits I'd like to see, we used to go and stay with the in laws during the 6 week hols so didn't have to pay for accommodation so it was an affordable break for us,now they've passed away it would be a lot more expensive. Mil was from Orkney so would love to visit there after hearing lots about it.
Would also like to go to Dublin

York is lovely. Not too far from me 🙂

Lovely! Lots of nice scenery, castles (Bamburgh Castle is amazing) and just a world away from the south!

North Yorkshire is lovely, and the Yorkshire Dales!

We have done most of England and Wales and some parts of Scotland, and would like to see more of the Moray Coast.

Laughing at the whole of Scotland being on the list. Cumbernauld is rather different to Portree.

One was in my van the other day in the Highlands. Definitely not uncommon to see them up here.

I'd like to do a few more cities and big towns. For instance I have never been to Leeds, Sheffield, Doncaster, Hereford, Glasgow, Cambridge, Lincoln, Ipswich... Dd spent a few days in Hull a couple of years back and said it was really interesting.
I crossed Buckingham, Carlisle and Liverpool off my list fairly recently, but most of the places I have been to need a lot more time than I have been able to commit.

Islands: Channel, Shetland, Scilly

Northern Ireland, and the Peak District. I live in Scotland so have seen a lot of my own country. I'd also love to go back to Wales.
