Caravan curtains clean

I want to wash our caravan curtains to freshen them up a bit. No visible mould. They say dry clean only. Is the best way to do this by soaking and rinsing in the sink with normal detergent or would you suggest anything else? Hints and tips welcome please. Would white vinegar be any good?

If they are dry clean only then you need to dry clean them or run the risk of the fabric being ruined. I speak from experience! Ruined a £120 coat (expensive 20 years ago) by washing it instead of dry cleaning. Don’t use water and detergent on dry clean stuff. It will cost you more to replace the curtains than to have them dry cleaned.
