Butlins dining plans - advice please!

We’re going to Butlins next weekend. I’ve booked Food Court Dining which is a breakfast/dinner buffet but have seen bad reviews not just for the food, but it being very busy/queuing etc. Obviously I’m expecting some waiting since it’s summer holidays, but if it’s diabolical and doing it twice a day for three days, I can see it making everyone grumpy.

Can anyone who’s been recently (it’s Bognor, but I imagine they’re all much the same!) comment on the above?

We could upgrade to Premium, which I think is probably similar food but a bit less busy since there’s more restaurant.

Or cancel the plan and just do ‘a la carte’ (as much as fish and chips and burgers can be considered that 😂).

Any insight much appreciated x

We had premium dining at Minehead. It was always busy but never big queues as it's predominantly buffet style. The premium upgrade offers more choice and slightly nicer environment.

Premium gives you a lot more choice, they have live cooking stations and different options. Food court is quite basic and not as comfortable, it has a bit of a school canteen feel to it.

If you download the resort app, you can click on the restaurants and see their menus for the week. Then you can see the difference in them

Glad to hear this! We are going to a big weekender in minehead in January and have booked the premium food package 😊
