Hiyah,

I'm in North Wales and I like going to Llandudno and Conwy. Bangor is a bit quiet really though I don't know it too well.

There's a University, so there are young people there.

How long would you be staying for? I sometimes go places with my daughter for weekends and have been to both Llandudno and Conwy for weekends and had a lovely time, but have never considered Bangor. But if you're only going for a day then that would be ok, otherwise you may want to travel around a bit.

If you've no car, there are regular trains for trips to other places.

Penrhyn Castle on the outskirts of Bangor (you will see it as you drive along the A55) is well worth a visit.

is that suitable for pushchairs though?

The building is huge (and fascinating). There is an upstairs-you could carry it up perhaps?

Says on the website that it opens on the 19th March though...
