Brecon Beacons recommendations

We're going to a wedding in August, just south of Bannau Brycheiniog aka Brecon Beacons, and thinking of spending a couple of days up there afterwards.

Any recommendations for accommodation, activities, good walks, and pubs? So many options. And any general tips much appreciated!

I’d recommend the National Showcaves, Brecon Mountain Railway, Four Waterfalls Walk, Sugar Loaf walk and Llanddeusant Red Kite feeding station.
For food, eat at The Dragon’s Back in Pengenffordd and the Pen Y Cae Inn.
